What is a dupe?

A dupe is an affordable product with a similar look, shape or style to a more expensive one. It is not a copy of the brand's logo or trademark. We never list counterfeits.

How do I search?

Paste a product link from any store into the search box, or paste, drop or upload a photo or screenshot. You can also type a description such as "cream boucle sofa".

Why didn't my link work?

Some stores don't allow automated reading of their pages. When that happens we match on the product name in the link instead. For the best results, paste a screenshot of the product.

What does the match percentage mean?

It's how closely we think a dupe matches the original's style, colour, material and details. 70% and above is usually a very close match.

Are the prices up to date?

Prices come from retailers' product feeds and are refreshed several times a day. Items whose price hasn't been confirmed recently are hidden. The retailer's checkout price is always the final price.

Is my photo stored?

No. Photos are analysed and discarded, unless you choose to share a find in Recent finds. Shared photos go through a safety check first, and photos of people are never shown.

How to spot a dupe worth buying

Check the material first: a boucle sofa or a leather loafer should list the same material as the original, not just the same colour. Then compare proportions. Seat depth, strap length and frame thickness are what make a piece read as expensive. Finally, read the retailer's return policy, especially for furniture.

These dupes get those details right:
